Naismith Engineering was started in 1947 by Len Naismith. It originally
made machines for the confectionery industry. From there it moved into
the manufacturing of Sprockets, Timing Pulleys and Taper Bushes. Now
Naismith Engineering stocks a large range of Power Transmission
components, importing from different suppliers around the world.
Our machine shop operates today allowing for small urgent runs, 1
off specials and modification to your precise specifications of any of
the Power Transmission products that we sell. We employ 16 people
at our Melbourne facility and 2 in Sydney, distributing our products through over 600
distributors through out Australia and New Zealand. Over 15,000
different stock items are kept on the shelf. This allows us to send 95%
of orders on the day that they are ordered.
