| Jaw couplings from Lovejoy are offered in the industry’s largest variety of stock bore/keyway combinations. These couplings require no lubrication and provide highly reliable service for light, medium, and heavy-duty electrical motor and internal combustion power transmission applications. Features
and Benefits
•
Fail-safe
– will still perform if elastomer fails
-No
metal to metal contact
• Resistant to oil, dirt, sand, moisture and grease
• Most
types available from stock.

 |
| L
Type |
Standard
L Type coupling hub materials are either sintered iron or cast iron. |
| AL
Type |
The
aluminum construction means this coupling is light-weight with low
overhung load and low inertia. |
| SS
Type |
These couplings offer the same
shaft-to-shaft connection features of the L Type coupling with the added
benefit of stainless steel material. |
| SW
Type |
The
coupling is the standard L Type with a snap elastomer with retaining
ring. It is well suited for standard shaft-to-shaft connection in general industrial purpose applications under 1750 RPM. Perfect for
quick element replacement, as you do not have to move the shafts apart.
Can be used with Standard L Type hubs, AL Type hubs & SS Type hubs. |
| LS Type |
By
simply moving the hubs apart and using a Jaw InShear element you can
create an overload protector. With the Jaw InShear type coupling the
element shears when there is a large overload, sacrificing its
self in order to save the rest of the machine. |
| RRS
Type |
The centre "drop
out" section of this coupling provides proper shaft separation
while also allowing easy elastomer installation without disturbing the
hubs or requiring re-alignment of shafts. Designed for the pump
industry, it accommodates European industry standard
pump/motor shaft separations that are most comon in Australia. Can
be used with Standard L Type hubs, AL Type hubs & SS Type hubs. |
