Wider Range of S-Flex Sleeves

  
 
Naismith Engineering has expanded its range of S-Flex sleeves from Lovejoy. We now stock the S-Flex JES Style of Sleeve from sizes 3 to 10 and the 2 Piece Neoprene from sizes 5 - 14. This gives a very wide range of S-Flex sleeves available off the shelf.

There are three different designs.
One-Piece
The one-piece sleeve features a one-piece design moulded in EPDM (JE), Neoprene (JN) & Hytrel (H).

One-Piece Split
The one-piece split is available in EPDM (JES). The split allows for ease of installation and removal.

Two-Piece Split
These sleeves feature a two-piece design. Available in EPDM (E), Neoprene (N) and Hytrel (HS). The EPDM and Neoprene have a retaining ring. The two-piece design is ideal for applications where there is difficulty in separating the shafts of the driver and driven.


There are three different materials.

EPDM - Colour is Black
Unless otherwise specified, S-Flex couplings are supplied with EDPM flexible sleeves. EDPM has good resistance to commonly used chemicals and is generally not affected by dirt or moisture

Neoprene - Colour is Black with a Green dot
Neoprene provides very good performance characteristics for most applications and offers a very good resistance to chemical and oil conditions

 
Hytrel - Colour is Orange
Hytrel is a polyester elastomer designed for high torque and high temperature applications and offers excellent resistance to chemical and oil conditions.
