Tol-O-Matic's
Slide-Rite™ Gearbox
Tol-O-Matic have expanded the Float-A-Shaft range. The
Slide-Rite™ will allow greater maximum speeds and higher
transmittable torque.
The Slide-Rite™, like the classic
Float-A-Shaft, is a universal right angle gearbox. It consists of
two 45° helical gears that mesh
at right angles, designed to turn power around any corner. The
Slide-Rite™ Gearbox can be operated in either direction
and can slide axially along the drive or driven shaft. Its unique
floating design maintains perfect shaft alignment allowing
for easy installation.
A solid one-piece aluminium housing seals the gears from outside
contaminates, providing for smooth operation in even the
harshest industrial environments.

1 degree of backlash on reversal of input
- Shaft
speeds up to 1200 RPM
- Pre-lubricated
and ready for installation
- Slide-Rite™
can slide along the shaft, limited only by the length of
the keyway

helical gears are hardened alloy steel
- Bores
are ground to 0.002" total tolerance
- Allows
use of standard transmission shafting
- Mounting
holes for use in shaft support
- Hardened
steel bearing races for longer life
