1. Expanding the SIT Tensioner Range
Naismith Engineering offers a range of chain tensioners from SIT
in Italy. This range has recently been expanded to include a Low
Friction Head and Rollers.
| TA Series Tensioners The TA model
from SIT represents the basic model of the range and consists of
a body in alloy, containing the elastic elements, and a lever in
galvanised steel. The alloy body can be one of two according to
size: TA1, the smallest model, is good for between 100Nm and
210Nm of force. TA2, the largest model, is good for between
200Nm and 350Nm of force The TA1 and TA2 bodies can be fitted,
respectively, with the different heads to suit your
application. |

TA - PA Tensioners (Low Friction Head)The Low
Friction Head is made from High Density Polyethylene. It is
available to suit Chain Sizes 3/8", ½", 5/8", ¾" and 1". The Low
Friction Head is ideally suited to low speed applications where
temperature is below 60 degrees Celsius and can be used with the
Standard TA1 or TA2 bodies. |

TA - RU Tensioners ( Roller)The RU series Roller is
ideal for use on timing belt and V-Belt drives and can increase
the life of the drive by up to 40%, due to the constant
application of tension. Rollers are available in Galvanized
Steel and Nylon. They can be used with the Standard TA1 or TA2
bodies and are available in 4 sizes.
