Fluidomat Fluid Couplings

Naismith Engineering is pleased to announce that they have recently been appointed by Fluidomat in India to supply their quality fluid couplings to Australia and New Zealand. Fluidomat has been manufacturing a large range of Fluid couplings since 1971 and have drives that will accommodate up to 3500Kw. Fluidomat have their own in-house Non Ferrous and Cast Iron foundries as well as sophisticated manufacturing, research and development, quality control and testing facilities to ensure that the Fluid couplings that they produce are consistently of a high quality.

Fluidomat manufacture two different styles of Fluid couplings.

Fixed Speed / Constant Fill
Scoop Controlled / Variable speed

There are 9 different types of Fixed Speed fluid couplings manufactured by Fluidomat. These couplings can transmit up to 2000Kw. They are the most common types of fluid couplings in industry today and they include:-

            - Shaft to shaft
            - Shaft to elastomeric coupling
            - Pulley mounted fluid couplings
            - Radially removable

Scoop controlled fluid couplings replace the rotating body style of fluid coupling with a solid housing that can be bolted down. They also allow you to control the speed of the output by adjusting the position of the scoop. These couplings can transmit up to 3500kw.
