E.K. Rustless chain is an outstanding corrosion
resistant chain because its surface is nickel plated. Rustless chain
without grease has less performance than LU chain. However,
the chain with grease shows good anti-corrosion performance. In a
situation where chain is exposed to the possibility of hydrogen
embrittlement caused by acid vapor or salty environment, nickel plating
delays the corrosive effect on the chain.
