Variable speed belts are designed for long life, even tracking, smooth
running, and efficient transmission of power through wide speed ranges.
They are made of special synthetic compounds to provide maximum service
in conditions where oil, heat (up to 93 degrees C), and static are
present. Maximum recommended belt speed is 5,600 feet per minute.
